Parish Service Opportunities
Wild Rose Elementary School – has a need for adult reading tutors for third and fourth grade students who need help for 2-3 hours a week at the school (in our Northern Parish). Please contact Robin or Arline Connelly for more details (626-449-4192).
Intercessory Prayer
Update on Norva Kelly – The surgery to remove cancer from the lymph node according to the doctor went well. The PET scan showed no indication of cancer at other locations. Norva will have a follow up appointment with the surgeon to discuss ongoing treatments. Please remember to keep Norva in your prayers for healing and comfort.
Continued prayer for our mission fields (1. Northern parish surrounding the Y; 2. Y Board and staff; 3. Y members; 4. City of Monrovia; 5. Church scattered communities of friends, relatives, etc., in our respective circles of influence).
