Keith Curdy (Katrina’s father) passed away on November 19th at the age of 88. A viewing will be held on Dec. 2nd from 10:00 am – 9:00 pm. in the main building at Forest Lawn in Glendale, 1712 S. Glendale Ave, Los Angeles, 91205. The funeral service will be held on Dec. 3rd at 2:00 pm at the Little Church of the Flowers, also at Forest Lawn. Please keep Katrina and her family in your prayers.

Prayers requested for Alberta Ecker – As reported earlier, Alberta has Multisystem Atrophy – Cerebellum Predominant. Alberta was taken to the hospital earlier this week but is now at home. She is suffering with an infection and is on antibiotics. Tom and Alberta appreciate our prayers.

Prayers for Katrina Curdy’s dad – He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and was diagnosed as having sepsis. Please pray that the infection is controlled and for his comfort.

Prayers for Roman Borek – Roman is being treated with issues related to cancer.

Graveside Service for Dorothy Walker – Friday, November 8th at  3:00 pm.  at Rose Hills Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601 (Gate One). All are welcome to attend. Dorothy passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1st.   Dorothy is survived by her immediate family:  Dave and Kathleen Knackstedt, Susan Coffey, Marian and Bruce Schuknecht and Allen Knackstedt.

Intercessory Prayer

Prayers requested for Alberta Ecker – Alberta has been diagnosed with an illness MSA-C (Multi System Atrophy – Cerebellum Predominant).    She is helpless and home-bound and needs 24 hour care being provided for by her husband, Tom. 

Prayers requested for Richard Verdugo – Due to a prior work-related injury, Richard is experiencing pain and tightness in his back.

Continued prayer for our mission fields (1. Northern parish surrounding the Y; 2. Y Board and staff; 3. Y members; 4. City of Monrovia; 5. Church scattered communities of friends, relatives, etc., in our respective circles of influence).

Update for Norva Kelly –, Norva saw a radiologist and she’ll be taking a new medication, which she hope will have fewer side effects than the prior medication she had been on for several weeks. Please pray for healing, comfort and wisdom in the decisions Norva needs to make regarding her treatment. Ron and Nova deeply appreciate our love, concern and prayers.

Christine Yun – Please remember Christine in your prayers for her healing and recovery.

Update for Norva Kelly – The oncology doctor is not recommending chemotherapy. In the next few weeks, Norva will be seeing a radiologist but not sure at this time what this means. She will be taking estrogen suppressant medication, which comes with some side effects.    Please pray that God will give Norva wisdom in the decisions she needs to make regarding her treatment. Ron and Nova deeply appreciate our love, concern and prayers.
