Intercessory Prayer

Prayer for Yuvetta Robinson – Yuvetta had breast cancer surgery this past week. The surgery went well as scheduled and she thanks everyone for their prayers. Please continue to pray for God’s healing and comfort.

Update on Cora Guice – Frank and Cora thanks everyone for their prayers for Cora and her recent fall. Cora is still a little sore but has much improved.

Graveside Service for Dorothy Walker – Friday, November 8th at  3:00 pm.  at Rose Hills Mortuary, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601 (Gate One). All are welcome to attend. Dorothy passed away peacefully on Friday, November 1st.   Dorothy is survived by her immediate family:  Dave and Kathleen Knackstedt, Susan Coffey, Marian and Bruce Schuknecht and Allen Knackstedt.

Update for Norva Kelly –, Norva saw a radiologist and she’ll be taking a new medication, which she hope will have fewer side effects than the prior medication she had been on for several weeks. Please pray for healing, comfort and wisdom in the decisions Norva needs to make regarding her treatment. Ron and Nova deeply appreciate our love, concern and prayers.

Intercessory Prayer

Update for Norva Kelly – The oncology doctor is not recommending chemotherapy. In the next few weeks, Norva will be seeing a radiologist but not sure at this time what this means. She will be taking estrogen suppressant medication, which comes with some side effects.    Please pray that God will give Norva wisdom in the decisions she needs to make regarding her treatment. Ron and Nova deeply appreciate our love, concern and prayers.

Christine Yun – Please remember Christine in your prayers for her healing and recovery.

Voices Assessment Training – When we identify our foundational and secondary leadership voice we also take vital steps toward hearing God’s voice in our conversational walk toward spiritual transformation. We are offering 5 training sessions. I am requesting your response to see how many are interested in investing 7.5 hours (total time) over 5 consecutive Saturdays. Dates to be determined if enough interest. Please let Pastor Craig know by tomorrow (Monday, September 16th) if you would like to be included.

Passing of Fred PattonFor many years, Mr. Patton was the barber at the Ambassador College Pasadena campus. Please keep his wife, Linda and son, Mark in your prayers at this time.

Prayer update for Norva Kelly – The post-surgery consultation with the doctor showed that five lymph nodes were removed instead of one. Pathology reports on those nodes revealed cancer in all of them. Norva is looking at ongoing treatment. Please pray for a proper diagnosis and treatment regimen and the wisdom to make the best decision for the future.

Update on Norva Kelly – The surgery to remove cancer from the lymph node according to the doctor went well.  The PET scan showed no indication of cancer at other locations.  Norva will have a follow up appointment with the surgeon to discuss ongoing treatments.  Please remember to keep Norva in your prayers for healing and comfort.
